That balloon thing is way sillier than anything we’ve ever done.
-Phil LeConte, The Silly People
(Executive Producer, Waterloo Comedy Festival)
The act opens with 7 minutes of stand up comedy, and then dives in at the deep end. Fire juggling and eating are employed to arrest and hold tension, which is the ultimate comic’s screwdriver. Enter the massive face-plant 5-club routine. Karl then picks one or two of several well-tuned audience participation menu options, and then breaks out a huge balloon, and jumps inside it. What else to finish this off but a signature piece: playing the harmonica, really well, on a high unicycle, while juggling fire or knives. Nobody ever leaves unwhaled.
